In occupied Crimea, disruptions to electricity supply were recorded overnight into 3 October. The occupation-run company "Krymenergo" said that electricity consumption restrictions had been introduced across the entire peninsula.
Russian media reported this.
The monitoring Telegram channel "Crimean Wind", citing its subscribers, reported that at 23:35 on 2 October the power supply went out in Simferopol and Simferopol District.
At 02:47 on 3 October, residents of settlements along Crimea’s southern coast began reporting power outages.
- In the first week of September, the Unmanned Systems Forces attacked 34 energy hubs in the occupied territory of Crimea and in southern and eastern Ukraine.
- On 20 August, a total blackout occurred in temporarily occupied Crimea. The power supply disappeared in Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kerch, Feodosia, Yalta and other cities on the peninsula.
