Pryluky came under a missile attack overnight on 7 October. One of the strikes hit a residential multi-storey building.
Rescue teams are continuing to clear the rubble, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported. As of 8:20, two people are known to have been killed, according to Suspilne, citing information from Stoyanov, head of the district police department.
Another seven people were injured.
“One of the strikes was directly on a residential multi-storey building. In the morning, when people were still asleep,” Chaus wrote.
Police added that the Children’s and Youth Creativity Centre and a business were also damaged.
