As a result of a large-scale missile attack, the three-soundstage building of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio was damaged. There is currently no information about any fatalities.
The film studio reported this on Facebook.
Rescue workers are at the scene. The consequences of the shelling are being clarified.
"Another difficult night and a morning of bad news," the film studio said.
- Two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the overnight attack. Both victims were in the Darnytskyy district of the capital. Their bodies were found in a garage cooperative.
- The consequences of the attack were also recorded in other districts of the capital. In the Obolonskyy district, there was a strike on the territory of non-residential development. In the Podilskyy district, warehouse premises were damaged; a fire also broke out there and the floors of an office-and-warehouse building partially collapsed. In the Shevchenkivskyy district, a strike was recorded on the territory of non-residential development.
- In addition, an unexploded part of a ballistic missile was found in the courtyards of residential buildings in the Darnytskyy district.
- On the night of 7 October, Russian forces also attacked Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Kyiv Regions with missiles of various types. The attack lasted several hours.
