An undetonated ballistic missile is being demined in Kyiv’s Darnytskyy district.
This was reported by the National Police.
"The police, together with the State Emergency Service, are carrying out the complex demining of an undetonated ballistic missile that the enemy launched at Kyiv overnight. The find was discovered among residential buildings," the statement said.
Specialists will remove the warhead and transport it to a range, where it will be neutralised. Access to the area is currently restricted.
Law enforcement officers remind people that they must not approach suspicious objects or touch them.
As reported, on the night of 7 October Russia attacked Ukraine with anti-ship, ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as 130 attack drones. The main directions of the strike were Kyiv Region, Kharkiv Region, Poltava Region and Dnipropetrovsk region. According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defence shot down or suppressed 161 targets.
