The 1,688th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 224 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
As the General Staff reported, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike and 74 air strikes, using 223 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 8,997 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,499 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 39 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Neskuchne, Pysarivka, Pavlivka, Korchakivka, Velyka Rybytsia, Potapivka, Korenok and Sopych in Sumy Region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck two UAV control points, one area where enemy manpower was concentrated, and three enemy artillery systems.
In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, one enemy assault action was recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out two air strikes using seven guided aerial bombs and conducted 161 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.
In the South Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian units repelled 12 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance near Hrafske, Synelnykove and Volokhivka, and towards the settlements of Ternova, Mykolaivka and Radkivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy twice tried to improve its positions by conducting assault actions in the areas of Kivsharivka and Novoosynove.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Stavky and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out one attack towards Pyskunivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 24 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Vilne, and towards Kurtivka, Pavlivka and Mykolaipillia; two more clashes are ongoing.
The enemy carried out sixteen attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Svitle, Krasnopodillia, Myrne and Molodetske, and towards Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia and Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, our defenders repelled one occupier attack towards Ternove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 14 times. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zlahoda, Ternuvate, Dolynka and Hirske.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy tried once to attack towards Mahdalynivka.
In the Kramatorsk and Dnipro River sectors, the occupiers did not conduct assault actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,830 personnel. Also neutralised were three tanks, four armoured combat vehicles, 47 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, 12 ground robotic systems, 1,702 unmanned aerial vehicles, 667 vehicles, six units of special equipment, and one enemy operational-tactical missile system.
