The 1,689th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 211 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The highest number of battles took place in the Pokrovsk and Hulyaypole sectors.

Yesterday, the Russian army carried out 83 air strikes, dropping 243 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 9,987 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,444 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 19 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Ulanove, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Seredyna-Buda, Volfyne, Rohizne, Ryzhivka, Kucherivka, Prohres, Hirky, Vovkivka, Studenok and Kozache in Sumy Region; and Kliusy, Liskivshchyna and Kryvusha in Chernihiv Region. The settlement of Hasychivka was hit by an air strike.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces struck four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, a site where equipment was amassed, two artillery systems and two other key enemy targets.
In the North Slobozhanskyy and Kursk sectors over the past day, the aggressor carried out one assault action and launched 30 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, two of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhanskyy sector Ukrainian units repelled five enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Izbytske, Ternova, Vilcha and Rybalchyne.
In the Kupyansk sector the enemy tried eight times to improve its positions, conducting assault actions towards Radkivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and Myrove.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers attacked eight times towards the settlements of Novoserhiivka, Novoselivka, Stavky and Lyman.
In the Slovyansk sector the enemy carried out two attacks in the areas of Ozerne and Lyman.
In the Kramatorsk sector the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
In the Kostyantynivka sector 12 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Kindrativka, Novoselivka, Toretske, Stepiv and Rozkishne.
The enemy carried out sixteen attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Vilne, Svitle, Dobropillia, Krasnopillia, Serhiivka and Molodetske.
In the Oleksandrivka sector the enemy launched two assaults towards Vorone and Zaporizke.
In the Hulyaypole sector, according to updated information, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 16 times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Rybne, Zlahoda, Ternuvate, Kosivtseve, Rivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka and Kopani.
In the Orikhiv sector the enemy twice tried to attack towards Novopavlivka and Plavni.
In the Dnipro sector the occupiers did not conduct assault actions.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,710 personnel. Also neutralised were three tanks, seven armoured combat vehicles, 67 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence asset, 18 ground robotic systems, 1,757 unmanned aerial vehicles, 617 vehicles and four units of special equipment.
