Russian Dawn Air Strikes Hit Zaporizhzhya With Guided Bombs, Killing Man and Injuring Nearly 10

At dawn on 9 October, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhya with guided aerial bombs, killing a man. Nine people were injured, including a child. 

The regional prosecutor’s office reported this. 

The strikes on civilian infrastructure lasted from 04:50 to 05:59.

Damaged:

  • multi-storey residential buildings;
  • a building of an out-of-school education institution;
  • cars. 

As a result of the attack, a 48-year-old man was killed. As of 07:45, it is known that nine people were injured, including a 14-year-old girl. Information about the casualties is being specified.

Under the procedural supervision of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation has been launched into a war crime that caused a person’s death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack.
