Over the course of the day, the Russians struck the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, artillery and a missile.

Russian forces continue to terrorise areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region. On 9 October, Kryvyi Rih’s infrastructure came under Russian fire, as did the Synelnykove and Nikopol districts.

This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

“One person was killed. The enemy attacked three districts of the region almost 40 times. They struck with drones, artillery and a missile,” the statement said.

Kryvyi Rih was hit. Infrastructure was damaged. Later, the head of the city’s Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported that at around 18:00 the enemy again carried out a strike with a jet-powered Shahed on an infrastructure facility.

In the Zelenodolsk community, private homes were damaged.

In the Nikopol area, the Russians struck Nikopol and the Pokrovske, Marhanets, Myrove, Mozolevske and Chervonohryhorivka communities. A multi-storey residential building and private homes, businesses, and an infrastructure facility were damaged. Fires broke out.

In the Synelnykove district, the Zaitseve and Petropavlivka communities were affected. An agricultural enterprise and infrastructure were damaged. Fires broke out. One person was killed.
