The Interagency Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation Policy and Export Control has granted 18 Ukrainian companies permits to sell finished weapons abroad.
The NSDC reported this, citing the head of the interagency commission, Davyd Aloian.
According to him, since February 2026 the commission has processed more than 400 export applications, of which more than 90% have been approved.
Aloian spoke about this during an event dedicated to Ukrainian defence companies entering international markets. Participants discussed attracting investment, expanding production, cooperation with foreign partners, and protecting the interests of Ukrainian manufacturers.
The NSDC stressed that entering international markets enables Ukrainian enterprises to secure new orders and investment, scale up production, develop technologies, and build long-term partnerships.
Ukraine is also working with international partners to develop defence cooperation. In particular, during a recent meeting with a delegation from the UK Ministry of Defence, they discussed the Drone Deal, the Anti-Ballistic Coalition, and joint production.
Aloian emphasised that the state is interested in developing Ukraine’s defence-industrial complex and is ready for dialogue with manufacturers and relevant associations. He said it is important that Ukrainian defence developments can be scaled up and that domestic companies expand their presence in international markets.
- Recently, President Zelenskyy announced new agreements with international partners on supplying weapons to Ukraine.
