Russian forces carried out a strike with a guided aerial bomb on Izium in the Kharkiv region. The hit struck a five-storey residential building, as a result of which structural elements from the first to the fifth floors were partially destroyed.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to preliminary reports, five people were injured in the attack. They are receiving medical assistance.
People may be trapped under the rubble of the building. A search-and-rescue operation is under way at the scene, with all emergency services deployed and working in an усиленому режимі.
