From the evening of 3 November, tram and trolleybus services in Kyiv will be temporarily suspended. Some routes will be covered by buses. The reason for this decision is a critical situation in the country’s energy system as a result of enemy shelling.

Replacement buses will not be able to fully compensate for the passenger volumes carried by electric public transport. Their number will be determined depending on the buses and drivers available, passenger flows, and the current situation in the city.
The timetable for replacement buses will be published shortly on the Kyivpastrans municipal enterprise website.
The metro is currently operating as normal. However, its continued operation will depend on the situation in the energy system. Passengers will be promptly informed of any possible changes via official channels.
Tram and trolleybus services will be restored once the situation in the energy system stabilises.
- In the past 24 hours alone, the enemy deliberately attacked energy facilities more than 20 times, using an unprecedented number of means of destruction, which led to significant damage to energy infrastructure.
- Russia is striking both generation facilities, where electricity is produced, and substations through which it reaches homes.
- There is severe destruction in Dnipropetrovsk Region, damage to facilities in Odesa Region and other regions. The most difficult situation at the moment is in Kyiv.
