Kyiv is temporarily without water supply due to power outages at key Kyivvodokanal facilities; the cause is Russian attacks on the capital’s energy infrastructure.

This was reported by Kyivvodokanal. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, emergency power cuts are in effect in Kyiv and the surrounding region. This has also caused disruptions to water supply in the capital and to the operation of public electric transport.

Specialists from the company, together with power engineers, are currently working to restore electricity and water supply.

At the same time, once power is restored additional time will be needed to restart the equipment, refill the water mains and stabilise pressure.

They promise to provide further updates on any changes in the situation. While water supply is unavailable, residents can use the pump-room complexes where drinking water is available. You can find the addresses of the nearest pump rooms on the website of the Kyivvodfond municipal enterprise.
