As a result of Russian strikes on Sumy region, residential buildings have been damaged and one person has been injured.
This was reported by Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, and Kostiantyn Havrylchuk, head of the Putyvl community.
According to Kryvosheienko, Russian forces carried out an air strike with three guided aerial bombs on Sumy and its suburbs. The impact was recorded in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city. Infrastructure facilities were hit.
Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured in the attack. However, glazing in windows and balconies was damaged in four nearby apartment blocks. The consequences of the strike are being clarified, and work to deal with them is ongoing at the scene.
Another Russian strike was recorded in one of the settlements of the Putyvl community in Konotop district. According to Kostiantyn Havrylchuk, the impact occurred near a shop.
As a result of the attack, a person who was on their way to the shop sustained a leg injury. No further details about their condition have been reported so far.
