The High Anti-Corruption Court will today decide on a preventive measure for Volodymyr Tsenov, First Deputy Head of the National Police’s Strategic Investigations Department. The hearing is set to start at 14:00.

This was reported by the HACC press service. The hearing will take place in the building on Khreshchatyk.

“In response to numerous requests from media representatives, we inform you that consideration of the motion to apply a preventive measure in respect of the First Deputy Head of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police of Ukraine is scheduled for 5 November 2026 at 14:00,” the announcement says.

Tsenov is one of three law enforcement officials who were served with notices of suspicion by NABU yesterday in a case involving a criminal organisation. His code name is “Price”. According to investigators, he ensured the unhindered operation of fraudulent call centres.

From January to July this year, “Price” received money to ensure the police did not carry out searches at the call centres.

“‘Price’ was responsible for resolving issues with the police — a serving National Police officer and one of the managers of the Strategic Investigations Department,” said Oleksandr Abakumov, head of NABU’s detective department.
