President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has summed up his foreign visits and reported new agreements with partners on military and energy assistance for Ukraine.
The head of state said this on social media.
In particular, Spain has prepared a €437 million defence package. According to the head of state, it is intended to help Ukrainian troops on the front line.
Germany, for its part, is preparing a winter support package that will strengthen Ukraine’s resilience, in particular its energy system.
“We are also working to speed up the delivery of missiles for Patriots, IRIS-T systems, and assistance for F-16s. That is the most important outcome of these visits in recent days,” the President of Ukraine wrote.
Zelenskyy also highlighted Ukraine’s participation in the Ibero-American Summit in Madrid. It was the first time our country had been represented at the event. Countries in Latin America heard Ukraine’s position directly and, among other things, supported assistance with equipment needed to keep Ukraine’s power grid operating.
The President also reported talks with the US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and said he had spoken the day before with the President of Finland Alexander Stubb. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is preparing new diplomatic steps.
