Armolab has unveiled the Unimod UGV — a modular, universal transformer platform designed to be air-dropped from heavy drones. The developers reported this on Facebook.

According to the developers, the UGV was created for evacuation and logistics missions. The company said the system has a modular design and can be equipped with either a wheeled or tracked chassis. Unimod was developed to allow rapid assembly and disassembly. The UGV is made from damage-resistant materials, the developers added.

The system consists of two tracked modules weighing 25 kg each and an interchangeable platform weighing 10 kg. The stated maximum speed is 6 km/h, and payload capacity is up to 100 kg. The UGV has a range of up to 20 kilometres and can be fitted with Starlink for communications, the developers note.

Armolab is a Ukrainian engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the development and production of ground robotic systems for military, rescue and special tasks. The company was founded in 2025, and its headquarters are in Lviv.

Recently, the company reported improvements to its UGV for medical transport, the Robonosha.

In addition to the Robonosha, the company’s developments include the six-wheeled UGVs Mamont and Marsokhid. The company presented a Mamont prototype in March 2026: it weighs about 1.1 tonnes, has a payload capacity of up to 700 kg, a range of up to 100 km and a top speed of up to 50 km/h. Marsokhid is designed to carry up to 200 kg of cargo, with a stated range of up to 60 km and a speed of up to 14 km/h.

The company’s co-founder Dmytro Mamonov, in particular, took part in developing an early version of TerMIT and worked on the Tank Bureau project, which later evolved into Numo Robotics.
