Over the past day, the Russian army also lost 44 artillery systems, 1,224 operational and tactical-level drones, and 460 vehicles and fuel tankers. Total Russian combat losses stand at around 1,604,110 people.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale invasion Russia has lost:
- personnel — about 1,604,110 (+2,280);
- tanks — 12,456;
- armoured combat vehicles — 25,654 (+3);
- artillery systems — 52,000 (+44);
- multiple launch rocket systems — 2,257 (+3);
- air defence systems — 1,747 (+3);
- aircraft — 452;
- helicopters — 356;
- ground-based robotic systems — 3,093 (+8);
- operational and tactical-level UAVs — 598,840 (+1,224);
- cruise missiles — 5,192;
- ships and boats — 35;
- submarines — 2;
- vehicles and fuel tankers — 171,389 (+460);
- special equipment — 4,881 (+3).
Ukraine’s Defence Forces are systematically destroying enemy personnel, weapons, military equipment and logistical assets. This weakens the Russian army’s offensive capabilities and reduces its ability to continue the war against Ukraine.
