One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in the antiterrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas on 19 January, the presidential administration's spokesman for ATO issues, Andriy Lysenko, has said.
"No-one has been killed over the past 24 hours, however one our serviceman was wounded," he said.
According to Lysenko, this happened during a separatist shooting attack at Maryinka, Donetsk Region.
Over the past 24 hours, the separatists have violated a "full cease-fire" 17 times. In particular, they shot at Ukrainian servicemen's positions near Donetsk airport, Pisky, Opytne and the Butivka mine in the Donetsk sector and near Vodyane at the Mariupol sector.
Grenade launchers and mortars were used.
