People's Front faction MP Ostap Semerak has said that the Minsk agreements are not perfect but the Ukrainian authorities could not find any better option to settle the conflict in Donbas. He was speaking a roundtable entitled "Constitutional reform and Minsk agreements" at Gorshenin Institute.
"Therefore we support the Minsk agreements as a consequence of the correct proposal of the president's peace plan with which Petro Oleksiyovych ran in the election and received Ukrainians' big support," he said.
"Therefore my political force will support the implementation of the peace plan, and is even ready for a compromise on the basic principles we have," he added.
According to Semerak, yesterday's vote on changes to the parliament procedures enabled the continuation of the Minsk process.
