The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has registered 1,018m IDPs from the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas and Crimea as of 6 March, the Service publishes on its website.
"Since the ATO beginning, the number of IDPs has comprised 1,018,484 people, including 996,554 from Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 21,931 people from Crimea and Sevastopol with 168,545 children, 491,374 disabled and elderly," the message says.
Psychologists of the State Emergency Service have provided psychological aid to 166,875 IDPs including 46,463 children.
Local authorities are also said to be engaged in looking for premises for IDPs .
"As for today, there have been assigned 607 objects of different forms of property available for 10,601 IDPs," the message notes.
