President Petro Poroshenko is having an official visit to the USA on 30 March through 2 April, the President's press service reports.
Within the framework of the visit, Poroshenko will participate in the Summit on nuclear security on the invitation of US President Barack Obama. The Summit will take place in Washington. On the agenda, there are also negotiations with the leadership of the country and bilateral meetings with the heads of the countries and governments who are to participate in the Summit.
Moreover, on 5-7 April, Poroshenko will have an official visit in Japan on the invitation of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The President will meet the heads of both Parliament Houses of Japan, its Prime Minister and other high-ranking officials, and business representatives.
"In course of the meeting, it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues as to the bilateral cooperation, and relevant issues on the international agenda within the Japan’s representation in G7," the message writes.
