The situation in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Donbass remains complicated as Russia-backed militants 31 times used firearms against the Ukrainian military, including heavy artillery, prohibited under the Minsk agreements, the ATO press center reported via Facebook.

The shelling of Avdeevka and its environs continued. Last night, terrorists shelled the army positions outside the settlement of heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and 82 mm mortars.

Near Krasnohorivka, the militants used the same type of weapons plus anti-aircraft systems.

In the Mariupol direction, the area of Shyrokino was the hottest spot as the terrorists several times used propelled grenades and heavy 152 mm artillery.

Near Novotroitsk, separatists used the 82 and 120mm mortars, and in the area of Pavlopol - anti-tank missile systems.

Enemy drones were detected over the Ukrainian positions, two of which were sent from Russian teriitory.

In the meantime, it was relatively quiet in the Luhansk sector before in the early hours the militants opened fire from small arms and rocket-propelled grenades at the position of Ukrainian army positions outside Shchastya and Sokolnyky.
