The deputies of People's Front and BPP factions gathered on 7 July morning near the rostrum and presidium of the Verkhovna Rada to prevent their blocking by opposition.
Speaker Andriy Parubiy surrounded by several deputies wearing camo uniform opened the parliament session.
The factions of Fatherland and Radical Party demanded an adjournment. Andriy Parubiy granted their request. Parliament will resume session at 10:38.
The parliament stalled from the afternoon of 5 July as Fatherland and RP factions announced that the assembly would not resume work until the deputies agree to adopt several bills, which, in their opinion, will help reducing utility tariffs.
