Over the past day, separatist and Russian occupation forces launched 21 fire attacks at the positions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas.

The ATO press center said ten attacks were recorded in the Donetsk area. The occupants fired rocket-propelled grenades, machine guns and small arms in the areas of Avdiyivka, Novoselivka Druha, Zaitsevo and Novhorodske. In addition, Avdiyivka and Novoselivka were shelled from 82mm mortar.

In Mariupol sector, the silence mode was breached seven times. In the areas of Maryinka, Starohnativka, Talakivka and Taramchuk, the militants fired small arms. An enemy sniper group was active in the area of Taramchuk.

In Luhansk sector, the ceasefire was breached four times. The enemy resorted to armed provocations in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Popasna and Novozvanivka by firing grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms. In addition, in the area of Novooleksandrivka enemy sniper group attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka the enemy opened fire from IFV-mounted weapons.

Two enemy drones have been spotted in the ATO zone.

The previous day passed without fatalities, but one soldier was wounded. Only 14 attacks were reported.

On 21 September, the Tripartite Contact Group for Donbas settlement signed a framework document on the separation of manpower and weaponry involved in three areas of the front.

The opposite parties will be separated in the areas of Stanytsya Luhanska, Zolote and Petrovske provided the ceasefire is observed during a period of 13 days.
