The government intends to introduce the possibility of obtaining 70% of the licenses and permits in electronic form this year.
"The plans for 2017 suggest a continuation of the large-scale deregulation. In particular, we plan to reduce the number of permissive documents: tax, currency, customs restrictions. At least 70% of permits and licenses will be issued in electronic form," - said First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said as quoted by Interfax-Ukraine on 23 January during a workshop dedicated to the development of investment and export potential of the regions.
According to the official, the main drivers of growth of economy of Ukraine in 2017 will export and investment demand, which will lead to the growth of the industry.
Kubiv said that a draft concept of innovative development of industry has been recently unveiled and is being discussed. The concept provides for an increase in the share of manufactured goods in the commodity exports of the country from 50 to 75%, and the share of high-tech products in the exports of manufactured goods from 7 to 15%.
In November, the Cabinet abolished 367 outdated regulations and norms within deregulation effort.
