Leader of the Movement of New Forces Mikheil Saakashvili called on his supporters to gather on October 29 for a Viche (rally) in front of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Kyiv. At a meeting on 25 October, the former Odesa governor also announced another protest action near the parliament on 7 November when people's deputies will come for a new plenary session.

A thin crowd of about 100 people turned out to listen to Saakashvili and a few other public activists.

After the speech, the former president of Georgia returned to the tent city where he is hiding from arrest and deportation. His team members showed journalists one of the tents equipped with a plastic table, sleeping bags and a portable oven.

About 50 police monitor the observance of public order at the ongoing rally.
