The Cabinet at a meeting on Wednesday, 8 November, terminated the 1995 intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the mutual supply of arms and military equipment, components and spare parts, organization of repairs and the provision of military services.

The agreement provided for mutual deliveries of arms, military equipment, components and spare parts, organization of repair and provision of military services according to agreed lists and concluded contracts.

The supply of weapons and military equipment and spare parts, repair and servicing, maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment were carried out under contracts (including between departments of defence ministries) that were ordered by enterprises industry and other authorized organizations in accordance with the current legislation of the parties.

On 18 October, Ukraine broke an agreement with the Russian Federation on the specialization of enterprises producing military products.
