A serviceman of the quick response border commandant's HQ of the State Border Service (SBS) was killed during a shooting exercise in Lviv Region on 22 February, the SBS has said on its website.
No details of the incident are available.
The incident was reported to the prosecutor's office, the National Police and other involved agencies.
