The Ukrainian think-tank Gorshenin Institute will hold the X National Expert Forum in Odesa on 18 October 2018.

The event is organised in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Ukraine&Belarus, the head of the Odesa regional state administration, Maksym Stepanov.

The forum will for the first time bring together leading Ukrainian and foreign public officials, politicians, diplomats and international corporate leaders in southern Ukraine to discuss the most important issues on the agenda and map government priorities in key areas for the next six months.

The day-long event will feature three discussion panels: “FORMULA OF PEACE FOR UKRAINE”, “UKRAINE – EUROPE’S INVESTMENT HUB”, and “UKRAINE IN GLOBAL DIMENSION”.

Participants of the anniversary National Expert Forum by Gorshenin Institute include Alexander HUG, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine; Jean-Baptiste JEANGENE-VILMER, Director of the Institute for Strategic Research of the French Defence Ministry; Marcel RÖTHIG. Director of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Ukraine&Belarus; Hennadiy ZUBKO, Deputy Prime Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Utilities of Ukraine; Maksym STEPANOV, head of the Odesa regional state administration; Isabelle DUMONT, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine; Lee YANG-GOO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine; Ivan MIKLOS, head of the Strategic Advisory Group for Supporting Ukrainian Reforms (SAGSUR); Pavlo KLIMKIN, Foreign Minister of Ukraine; Annika WEIDEMANN, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine; Ihor SMESHKO, former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, national security expert; Susan STEWART, senior researcher at German Institute for International and Security Affairs (Berlin), Simon WEISS, research associate at Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Regional Office for Cooperation and Peach in Europe (Vienna, Austria) etc.
