The State Fiscal Service has reported a cyber attack on its website which started on the evening of 8 October and continued into the next morning.
As a result, the work of its services became unstable.
Extra load was registered on the E-Office and the official web portal of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
The internet provider identified the cyber attack and launched a protection mechanism. This interference made the mentioned services unavailable to some users.
The state special communications authority has been informed accordingly.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said that Russian special services had carried out 35 cyber attacks on Ukrainian websites and databases this year. The USA promised Ukraine support in dealing with hackers to minimize Russian special services' possible meddling in the coming elections.
