Abortions are among the issues on which the Catholic Church will never compromise but it is important how they are being discussed, the bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and president of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Borys Hudzyak, has said on Sonya Koshkina's KishkiNA show.
"We want to dominate over life, we want to decide when it starts and stop it when we deem necessary – in the womb, in old age or weakness. These are the things on which the Gospels and Christianity cannot and will not compromise," he said.
"People are sinful today but today's culture does not want to acknowledge this. We do not like the reality, we want fantasies. We need the grace and mercy of God," he added.
