The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) barred 157 Russian citizens from visiting the country in 2018.

According to its Facebook report, 83 of them were "Russian propagandists".

In 2018, it brought to account 49 social network group administrators, served 29 notices of suspicion. Verdicts were handed down for 20 of them.

The SBU also identified 152 Donbas militants and detained 54 of them. It also exposed 71 people involved in reconnaissance and sabotage for foreign special services.

It opened 114 criminal cases of high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code) in 2018.

Last November the State Border Service of Ukraine restricted entry for Russian male citizens aged 16 to 60 years old. After the end of martial law, the ban was extended.
