Almost 316,000 Ukrainians have chosen to change a polling station they would visit to cast their ballot in the 31 March presidential election, the head of the Central Electoral Commission, Tetyana Slipachuk, has said.
She said that offices of the State Register of Voters had been working on the brink of their capacity to register the moves.
"From 2 January to 25 March, 315,725 Ukrainians exercised this right," she said on Facebook.
Most applications came from residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 63,869 and 28,834 people respectively.
Over 210,000 applications have been submitted over the past week.
