President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has initiated the renewal of Ukraine's diplomatic corps, the president's office has said on Telegram.
"The decision has already been taken to replace 12 embassy heads all over the world. In particular, Ukraine's ambassador to the USA (Valeriy Chalyy – ed.note) is completing his attachment to Washington. In parallel, there is work underway to select and register new ambassadors," the statement reads.
Zelenskyy's decrees to this effect are expected to be published shortly.
On 11 July, parliament again refused to accept Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin's resignation.
