The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the list of entities permitted to work during the coronavirus quarantine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
According to the updated rules, postal and courier services, construction works, collection and stocking of recycle/garbage, sale of construction materials and dry cleaners are allowed to work.
The following persons over 60 years of age do not have to self-isolate:
- Public servants, deputies of all levels, city heads, judges and other persons covered by the law on the prevention of corruption,
- Servicemen and employees of the Armed Forces, other lawful paramilitary groups and law-enforcement agencies,
- Persons carrying out measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19,
- Persons ensuring the operation of critical infrastructure facilities and companies of strategic importance to the economy and security of the state.
Earlier, Shmyhal said that the quarantine would not be relaxed until May.
