The trilateral contact group on a Donbas settlement held talks by video link on Ukraine's initiative on 8 April, the press service of the Ukrainian president has said.
"In the course of the video conference, the trilateral contact group reached a principled agreement on the lists of captives for exchange, as well as the date – no later than Easter," it said.
In addition, the group discussed humanitarian mine clearance.
"The sides must provide the OSCE with the lists of objects for mine clearance and guarantee security in all sectors," the presidential office said.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian side presented a list of over 200 names for a future mutual exchange of captives.
On 13 March, presidential office head Andriy Yermak said that Ukraine plans to recover all captives held by pro-Russian militants.
In 2020, Catholics celebrate Easter on 12 April and Orthodox Christians on 19 April.
