Ukraine has registered 9,832 new Covid-19 cases over 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. There were 94 deaths and 2,753 recoveries.

Ex-President Petro Poroshenko has said that Ukraine should follow the example of Slovakia and Austria and hold the mass free testing of its citizens for coronavirus.

The National Healthcare Service of Ukraine is short of nearly 5.6bn hryvnyas to pay medical establishments that treat Covid-19 patients.

Re-elected Konotop mayor Oleksandr Luhovyy died of Covid-19.

The Central Electoral Commission has announced that repeat elections will be held in some locations in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsya and Sumy regions.

Economy

Ukraine's GDP has slowed down from 11.4% to 3.5% in Q3, according to the State Statistics Service.

Parliament is unlikely to pass the 2021 budget bill as a whole before 1 December, according to the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policies, Danylo Hetmantsev.

Nationalised PrivatBank has won a 1bn-hryvnya courtcase against Agroterminal LLC, a company associated with the bank's former owner Ihor Kolomoyskyy.

Crime

Kyiv's court of appeal has cancelled the arrest in absentia for ex-President Viktor Yanukovych in the case on the deadly dispersal of Maydan protesters on 18-20 February 2014. The case will be considered again by the court of the first instance.

A serviceman has killed his colleague in a military unit based in Stanytsya Luhanska and tried to present it as a suicide. During an investigation, he confessed to the murder.
