Donbas
Seven separatist ceasefire violations have been registered in Donbas since midnight, the Joint Forces Operation HQ has said.
Separatists twice shelled the Ukrainian army's positions near Taramchuk with 120-mm mortars and 122-mm artillery, Pisky with 120-mm mortars.
The Joint Forces returned fire.
In the morning, Russia-backed militants shelled the town of Shchastya in Luhansk Region twice from the area of Vesela Hora. According to preliminary assessments, they fired with 82-mm mortars.
The local border service office and civilian transport were damaged. The head of the local military-civil administration, Oleksandr Dunets, was wounded.
Task force
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has set up a working group which will develop proposals on how to prevent and minimize negative consequences due to the construction of gas mains bypassing Ukraine.
Incident
Two people got killed and five injured because of an explosion which took place as they were making a fire during a hiking trip in the Carpathians late on 15 September. The National Police said that a World War I shell may be to blame.
Coronavirus
Ukraine registered a further rise in the number of coronavirus infections, having logged in 5,744 new cases on 15 September.
