Chernihiv is fully controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional state administration, said on his Facebook page.
"We have some settlements where there is enemy hardware of the Russian Federation. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are more ready than ever, striking crushing blows against enemy hardware. The enemies are suffering heavy losses," Chaus said.
