In his video message to the citizens, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states that the Russian Federation has carried out 56 missile attacks against Ukraine. They have fired 113 cruise missiles.

“This is what ‘brotherly friendship’ is like. The world knows what to do. Today I’ve spoken to our partners about it,” says Zelenskyy.

The President emphasizes that today, the Russian forces violently fired rocket artillery at Kharkiv.

“It is definitely a war crime. Civilian city. Civilian residential areas. Zero military facilities. Dozens of witnesses’ records confirm that this is not a single unintentional discharge. It is conscious elimination of people. Russians knew where they were shooting. This crime is bound to result in a tribunal. An international tribunal. This is a violation of all conventions. No one in the world will forgive you the murder of civilian Ukrainian people,” asserts Zelenskyy.

“Ukraine is here. Europe is here. 2022 is here. Evil, armed with missiles, bombs and artillery, must be stopped immediately. Its economy must be destroyed. We must show that humanness knows how to defend itself. I believe that we need to consider closing the sky for Russian rockets, planes and helicopters completely,” the President adds.

He also claims that Russia, the country committing war crimes against civilians, cannot be a member of the United Nations Security Council. The entry to all ports, channels and airports of the world must be closed for this state.

“Such a state cannot get hundreds of billions for the export of energy resources. Buying Russian goods now means paying money for killing people,” notes Zelenskyy.

“Peaceful, proud, strong Kharkiv. You have always been, and will always be this way. We will defend Ukraine. We will help everyone who suffered from this inhumane invasion. Chernihiv, Okhtyrka, Sumy, Hostomel, Vasylkiv, Kherson, Mariupol, Donetsk and all other cities and villages of our dear country will see a life that is peaceful and safe,” adds Zelenskyy.

We remind you that today, Karim Khan, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, initiated the investigation of crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine. He qualifies the occupier’s actions as “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity”.

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy reported that, since the beginning of the open invasion, Russia has fired 113 operational-tactical land-based and sea-based missiles, such as Iskander and Kalibr, against civilian cities and villages of Ukraine.

“This massacre of Putin’s regime is a grave violation of the norms of International Humanitarian Law and demands an investigation by The Hague tribunal,” he states.
