346 people were evacuated from the city of Volnovakha in the Donetsk region, which has been under fire from Russian troops for five days. This was announced today by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
"Today 346 people were evacuated from Volnovakha and taken to safety. A total of 496 people, including 100 children and three people with disabilities, have been evacuated since the Russian invasion from Volnovakha and parts of the Volnovakha district," Kyrylenko said.
Kyrylenko has begun publishing lists of evacuees for those seeking their relatives, and appealed to international humanitarian organizations to intervene and put pressure on the occupier to cease fire.
To remind you, the Russian military fired with MLRS on transport used for evacuation of Volnovakha inhabitants. The city has no electricity, water or gas. Russian troops have not provided a "green corridor" for the evacuation of civilians.
