The Russian news agency TASS informed that Swedish companies, including Volvo Cars, Scania and Ericsson, have announced the closure of their business in Russia.
It is noted that Volvo Cars has decided to suspend the sale of new cars in Russia because of the potential risks that may arise from trade with the country. The company's decision was also influenced by US and EU anti-Russian sanctions.
Scania, in turn, has temporarily stopped supplying cars and spare parts to Russia. The company's decision is also related to Russia's war in Ukraine.
Sweden's Ericsson, a supplier of telecom equipment to Russia's largest operators, has decided to suspend all deliveries to customers in Russia due to sanctions.
Earlier, we reported that Daimler's German truck manufacturer is terminating cooperation with the Russian KAMAZ.
