Russia has sent Chechen troops to Ukraine to eliminate President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), who do not support Russia's invasion of Ukraine, told Ukrainian intelligence. As a result, some of Kadyrov's people were eliminated; the other part is at gunpoint.

We are well aware of the special operation supposed to take place directly by Kadyrov's people to liquidate our president. And I can say that we have received information from the FSB, who do not want to participate in this bloody war today. Due to that, Kadyrov's elite group, which came here to liquidate our president, was also destroyed," Radio Svoboda quoted the Secretary.
Danilov clarified that Kadyrov's people were divided into two groups.
"We monitored them. One group was trapped in Gostomel. Another group is now, so to speak, under fire," he said.
On 28 February, in his telegram channel, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov acknowledged the deaths of two Chechen servicemen in Ukraine, but he did not give their names. "Unfortunately, there are already casualties among the natives of the Chechen Republic. Two of us died and six others were injured to varying degrees," he said.
However, neither Kadyrov nor the Kremlin commented on statements by the Ukrainian authorities about Kadyrov's people who "came to Ukraine to eliminate President Zelenskyy".
