Kherson Mayor Igor Kolykhayev says the city is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe and asks for a green corridor to evacuate the wounded and bring food to the townspeople. He wrote about this on Facebook.
"Please use your fourth power to help us get a 'green corridor' for transporting the wounded and killed, transporting medicines and food to the city. Without that, the city will perish!" the mayor noted.
He asks to convey this information, in particular, to world politicians.
"Help Kherson get a chance to save its residents from the impending humanitarian catastrophe!" wrote the mayor.
As you know, the Russian occupiers entered Kherson at night. They seized the river port and the railway station.
