Yesterday, on 3 March, 47 people died as a result of Russian air forces bombarding the territory of Chernihiv.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with reference to the information verified by medics.
38 men and 9 women died.
“18 people were saved,” the report says.

We remind you that on Thursday, 3 March, around midday, Russia attacked a residential area in the centre of Chernihiv. Many apartment buildings were damaged. It includes shattered windows, damaged roofing and balconies, partly destroyed walls and ceiling coverings.
The regional state administration emphasizes that there are no military facilities nearby, just hospitals, some schools and kindergartens, and dozens of tower blocks.
