On their Facebook page, the embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel urged the Israel authorities to support Ukraine. In particular, they are asking to provide urgent financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
“Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad make every effort to consolidate the international community against the aggressor. Ukraine is grateful to its allies for imposing new economic sanctions against Russia and providing weapons to strengthen our country’s defense capabilities.
Therefore, the Embassy of Ukraine is actively requesting its friends in Israel to provide immediate financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine amid the political and military crisis of the world scale.”
In addition, the Embassy noted that the Ukrainian army and all other national defense forces are have rebuffed the Russian attack with dignity, and the Russian forces are constantly suffering huge losses.
On March 1, in Kyiv, Russian forces shelled the TV tower. Later on, it became known that there were two strikes, occupiers have fired at Babyn Yar, the site of mass shootings during the Holocaust.
