The American IT company EPAM closes its Russian office and stops serving Russian customers. In addition, the company decided to allocate $ 100 million to Ukrainian workers and their families, says the company's statement.

EPAM clarified that they seek to provide transitional support to customers in this market.

"EPAM does not work for the government in Russia and fully complies with all sanctions. The company is also actively evaluating other activities in the region," the statement said.

"What is happening in Ukraine is deeply personal to us. Our colleagues worldwide are united in supporting 14,000 of our teammates in Ukraine and their families. We are doing everything possible to support our Ukrainian colleagues and friends," said Arkady Dobkin, CEO and President of EPAM.

EPAM Systems is an American IT company, outsourced software developer, consulting specialist, resident of the Belarusian High Technology Park. The company is headquartered in Newtown and has offices in 25 countries.

It is a partner of the all-Ukrainian annual competition of leading IT specialists Ukrainian IT Award.
