The YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Witness project published a video of the aftermath of the 1 March shelling of the Bohunia district in Zhytomyr.

"At a briefing on 4 March, Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO would not be on the Ukrainian land or in the Ukrainian air not to start a" great war".

In our video, there is Zhytomyr. Consequences of the night airstrike in the Bohunia district on 1 March", the description of the video said.

Volunteers of the project reported that three shells hit private houses as a result of the shelling. The explosion and fire destroyed more than a dozen houses and three shops. Windows and doors flew in the maternity ward of the nearby Pavlusenko City Hospital №2, and the roof was damaged.

"Three people were killed. Sixteen people, including seven children, were injured. These were the first civilian casualties in Zhytomyr. Eighteen locals who hid in basements and shelters during an enemy raid managed to survive. All these losses and destruction are still enough for NATO to close the skies over Ukraine," the video said.

Vitaliy Deinega, the Return to Alive Ukrainian Army Relief Fund founder, launched the Ukrainian Witness media project.

Volunteers of the Return Alive Foundation work closely with Ukrainian fighters and receive exclusive photos and videos. Therefore, Ukrainian Witness will publish this content with comments in English so that more people abroad can understand what is happening in Ukraine.
