The Ukrainian Armed Forces has recaptured the Kulbakine military airfield on the outskirts of Mykolayiv and raised the state flag of Ukraine there.
The video was published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Defense.
"Kulbakine Airport has been recaptured. There are no more orcs," the fighters have said.
The head of the Mykolayiv regional state administration Vitaly Kim reported on his Telegram page that the Russian occupiers had been driven out of the city, and "the fight was proceeding on the outskirts". The occupiers counterattacked the airfield.
As previously mentioned, the General Staff has released new information on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In the Mykolayiv area the Ukrainian military has captured a column of Russian equipment, in particular, Ground Force Air Defense System Pantsir-C1.
