Petro Poroshenko brought helmets, handheld transceivers and weapons for Ukrainian soldiers guarding the entrances from Bucha-Hostomel to Kyiv. In addition, the EU press service stated that the ex-president gave the soldiers bulletproof vests.
"The guys are here to defend Kyiv. There are good vibes, so the defenders will not give up Kyiv. And they will make hell for the Russians here because these are Russians who came to us. They also kill civilians and children; because they hate Ukraine and deny us the right to be the Ukrainian people, to have our Ukrainian land covered with blood and sweat," Petro Poroshenko said.
He added that Kyiv is ready to resist strongly.
"No one is afraid of Putin. Nobody is scared of Russians. We believe that Putin is no longer an aggressor after the events in Kharkiv, Mariupol and Chernihiv. Putin is already a murderer, a terrorist and a devil. And the best fate awaiting him is in the dock in The Hague," said the fifth president.
"Everyone is helping now. People have forgotten about any quarrels or misunderstandings they had before. There are representatives of different nationalities and at least four religions. There are also radicals and liberals from the organizations "Demokratychna Sokyra" (the Democratic Ax"), "Karpatska Sich" (the Carpathian Sich), and "Nevidomyy Patriot" (the Unknown Patriot) in one platoon," said Artem Lisovets, a participant in the territorial defence.
